Dan Herr

Dan is the Founder and CEO of Tahoe Equity and Acqwired, a private equity deal origination software company. Before founding TEP and Acqwired, he led deal origination and marketing at Serent Capital in San Francisco and Austin, where he built the sourcing team and helped scale capital deployment in high-growth B2B SaaS businesses as the firm expanded from a $350M Fund II to a $1.1B Fund V.

Earlier in his career, Dan was a Principal at Castle Crow & Company, a buy-side deal origination firm, where he managed and supported retainer clients across the U.S., U.K., and Canada.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Nevada.
